Dr. Robinson was inspired to become a physician by his mother and her internist. His mother had congenital kidney disease, and he spent many hours during his childhood in hospitals with her. Despite being advised not to have children, she defied the odds and had three. Her internist played a pivotal role in her care, walking alongside her to extend and improve her quality of life. This internist was a key role model for Dr. Robinson throughout his childhood and led him to pursue medicine. For Dr. Robinson, preventative care and personal health responsibility are keystones in his healthcare philosophy. He is empathetic and values helping all his patients through healthcare challenges. In his spare time, Dr. Robinson loves to travel and experience other cultures. He works with Young Life and Young Life Africa. He also enjoys carpentry, hiking, tennis, gardening, and all things Formula 1.
