Dr. Jihad Harmouche is a skilled obstetrician and gynecologist who has earned several prestigious awards and scholarships throughout his medical career. He was the recipient of the Golden Apple Teaching Award, given to the top residents every three months for teaching medical students during their OB/GYN rotations. Dr. Harmouche was also honored with the Herzog Scholarship, which is awarded based on need and academic performance, and the Thompson Scholarship for International Health, recognizing his dedication to global health. In addition, he received the Albert Schweitzer Osler Society Global Health Scholarship for his commitment to a global health experience, as well as the Jack Smith Scholarship for the best behavioral research proposal of the year. Dr. Harmouche completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Ascension St. John Hospital and Medical Center, where he received comprehensive training in women's health care.
