This store customer service is disgraceful the people working there are terrible... you cannot get you glasses in a timely manner and when you call to make inquiries about when you will get you item they have you waiting for a long time then hang up on you.

The quality of lenses is horrible and the store does not want to replace them. I have never had lenses like that before. Less than one star actually.

This was my first time using Hakim, I have been going to another place for over 8 years but was becoming unhappy. I will be using Hakim from now on!! Their service was excellent and the amount of different frame styles was tremendous. Also I got my two pairs of glasses in less than 4 buisness days :)

Hakim Optical began more than 40 years ago with Mr. Hakim grinding lenses for the Canadian wholesale market. His craft was learned, as a youth, in his native Iran and honed, in subsequent years, grinding lenses in Germany and then camera lenses in Switzerland.
Attracted by the excitement of retail opportunities, Mr. Hakim began to pass the great deals he gave to wholesalers on to the public.
Today Hakim Optical serves the public with 124 outlets (including 99 one hour factory outlets) in Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba.
