Cummins Optical

We had been to have eye exams three years in a row at Cummins Westmount and we all really liked the optometrist. The third year, I needed a new prescription and chose to order my glasses from an online company. When I got my new glasses they made me physically ill - very ill. So I called Cummins and wanted another appointment with the optometrist to double-check the prescription. I was treated with hostility on the phone when I called with my concern. The online company was trashed completely by the individual who took my call and I was also attacked for having made the choice to purchase my glasses online. I was told there would be no other appointment unless I paid for the appointment in advance. I paid for the appointment in advance, met with the optometrist only to find that the mistake was his. The same individual that I spoke to on the phone was working that day and was very hostile with me when I showed up for my appointment. She was hostile with the optometrist when he told her to reimburse me for the appointment because the error was his. Her behavior happened in front of other staff who took notice, but did nothing.
