I bought a used washer and dryer a month ago so this review should be seen as on-going if necessary. The lady I dealt with was up front and true to her word. She insisted that I checked at home to make sure that I had space for a passage way, and she made clear that if not, the deliveryman would leave the machines at my house. She told me when they would deliver and they did so at the time if not earlier. I was very impressed by the single delivery man who removed the old machines & delivered and installed the new ones. He spent a good 2 hours with no break or chatting, and would not stop till he had them properly installed and balanced. The machines seem to work well. The shop is listed in the Better Business Bureau so that should give some encouragement. Yes, their warranty is worthless, since it is for 30 days at the shop, but in fairness to them, we can't expect a shop to send someone out on a second-hand machine. We have to trust in their integrity in not selling a machine on its last legs, and we, in return, have to be prepared for some unknown part to break. That is the gamble of a second-hand machine. The lady recommended the make and told me that they were good machines. So far I have no complaints.

i have purchased a used washing machine from langara appliances 3 years ago and am very happy with the results and now want to go there and purchase a dryer and hopefully i will have the same results.yvonne forsythe
