Extendicare/Parkside

No stars for this place. Anyone that has a loved one in this facility knows what that means. The staff just have too much to do and cannot give adequate care. The care is less than the bare minimum. Don't know how they even get Accreditation - the standards must be very low. My aunt is 91 and recently her top teeth just loosened and had to be removed because of gum disease and ZERO dental maintenance. There is no help at all to turn on a TV, or help with insertion & removal of hearing aids, the rooms are old & depressing, no separation of those with dementia, terrible odors and food. Not much good to say about this place. I have seen this for 3 years and does not improve. Recent complaints of the Long Term Care facilities in Sask. are well founded.
Don't believe Health Minister Duncan would want a family member of his in a place like this. Disgraceful....
