Trent Valley Lodge Nursing Hm

This was my grandmothers first long term care home.She was always looked after and treated with respect and privacy.Her room was a shared room with 1 other woman.It was spaceous enough for her things and her favorite rocker.The staff were very caring and supportive.She got her hair done every Tuesday and she was always dressed very tidy.The nurses would help her put her makeup on.The staff were always walking around and checking the residents.Its been a very pleasant experience to date with no problems.Shes moving to a different facility to be closer to family and i hope that her new home will be as nice as Trent Valley Lodge.For those that this is your first time to place a loved one in a long term facility ,take your time, talk to people,keep your eyes and ears open but most of all talk with the residents.
