Extremely unsanitary. I can understand that cats are somewhat soothing and therapeutic for people but when the cats are eating from patients plates, roaming freely and playing with staff it’s just insanely unsanitary. There’s a global pandemic going around and with the unkept ness of this place I’m not surprised patients are constantly in isolation or have outbreaks. To add, staff is rude and considering the past reviews here, I’m not the only person who noticed.

Short staffed all the time due to high turnover from bad management, don't follow safety and health procedures, medicine gets missed, no exercise or limb movement for most people, terrible communication from department to department, maybe get outside once or twice a year if lucky, dehydrated (no drinks in between meals), if meals are missed there is no communication and they just won't eat after dinner time especially if on puree food (my mother's roommate was on puree), snack time at 7:30pm is a joke and only people that happen to wander in get a snack, sometimes some snacks are given out to the residents in the room but most time not, management never comes out of their offices to see what actually happens, can't get out of bed without waiting hours, sometimes one floor staff has 37 people, fully staffed is one staff per 9 residents and then they have to help their partner with their residents' because they need 2 people to get residents out of bed, so fully staffed that leaves 18 residents between 2 staff. Most of the Recreation is only for a select few. They may speak management "lingo" but don't be fooled. Second level is for dementia patients and violent beatings between residents take place and then that violent person is left alone again wandering the halls. Management lies and sweeps it under the carpet.
