I was inspired to work in healthcare after having surgery as a child and seeing the direct impact providers make on patients’ lives. Over time, I continued to be fascinated by the human body and wanted to have a career where I could help patients find strategies to maximize their health and quality of life. As a North Carolina native and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill alum, I am proud to be able to serve my community as an advanced practice provider. My philosophy of care is that the patient and provider are on a team. With a shared understanding of the patient’s individual goals and health needs, we can work together to enhance their quality of life and well-being. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, running and competing in races, exploring National Parks, gardening, reading, and watching Canes hockey.
