At Souz Dal, a hidden treasure on the College strip, friends meet nightly for martinis (gin and tonic for me, though) and chats. Souz Dal is a dark, comfortable bar which has hosted many a first or tenth date, plenty of after-work gatherings, and countless reunions among friends.
Sid, Souz Dal's owner, makes one of the best martinis around.

This place is so hip, well, it hurts. Owner Sid Dichter spins a hip blend of trip hop and down-tempo beats. And the stylish staff really know how to mix a cocktail—martinis, of course, as well as mojitos and caipirinhas. Survival guide: look good when you slip into the tiny room, slide onto one of the velour-covered chairs, don’t laugh too loudly, and you’ll fit right in. In summer, the small, candlelit back patio is a gem.
