ELOHU, Longueuil Reviews (2)
I've been living on Trenholme for several years. The only reason I stay is b/c the rent is cheap and the complex is very close to 4 bus lines (105, 162, 90, 51) and the AMT Montreal-West train station, so for transportation it is at a great location.
The area is **low-income housing** and is not properly maintained. The entire building: electrical sockets, breakers, doors, windows, and paint desperately need updating - never done. There are ant infestations (Pharoh Ants to be exact which are extremely difficult to abolish).
We pay more for Hydro because there are cracks around the 50 year-old windows & doors. Cold air blows in during winter time and hot air blows in during summer time.
The laundry room was just recently redone and it is nice, but that's about all I can say.
The wait to have anything done on your apartment is 6+ months. I wouldn't trust the Landlord, Michel Leduc, with nothing.
If you REALLY have no money, I'd recommend this complex for temporary residence. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Seriously.
Thanks for reading.

The apartments are good for what you pay. Neighbours are generally friendly. A bag of mixed nuts.
Staff is great, and does a formidable job with the upkeep and maintenance. The only real downside is the landlord, who can be stubborn and often times rude.
