Terrible building. Has gotten much worse since new management/owners (Sterling Kermar and Starlight) have taken over. Previously the building was older and not necessarily in the best condition but a 2 bedroom was approximately $1200 dollars as recently as 2020. With the new management. Rent for a 2 bedroom approaches $1900 with water/hydro being additional costs The building has 1) cockroach infestation (can't get rid of them). Filled out work requests - ignored by the management. The number of roaches is ridiculous in the building. Not 1 or 2. You see them in the hallways, elevators, etc. 2) bed bud problem (see above). 3) the parking lot (underground) floods whenever there is rain. your car is not safe. 4) no parking lot security. no security in the building whatsoever. the underground parking is open to the public (no locking gates), a regular place for drug use/business. Note - car unsafe. My car has been broken into twice. management ignored issue. 5) renovations in the building are a disaster. 6) no hot water in the building on a regular day. the past week it was 3 straight days taking cold showers 7) hallways are dirty. there is no regular cleaning which takes place in the building 8) the laundry room is a problem. There are only 6 dryers for the entire building. On a regular basis they are not working. Recently 5 of 6 dryers happened to not work for over 1 month

The management of 301 Dixon road are not sensitive to the needs of persons with disabilities.
They allow tenants to bully women, children, and people with disabilities, and they are unfairly treating many tenants on a regular basis.

It is not run effectively, and many problems arise, due to the lack of competency of management.
