Dr. Susie Kim is a board-certified UCI Health physician who specializes in family medicine. She has a special interest in adolescent medicine, women's health and preventive health. Kim earned her medical degree at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She completed an internship and a residency in family medicine at UCI School of Medicine. Kim treats all kinds of patients — and that's what she likes best about her practice. “I enjoy family medicine because I can treat children and adults and establish relationships with the entire family,” Kim said. “I will see mom, dad, the kids and even extended family members. I like knowing that I’m the first one they visit when they have a medical issue.” Among her clinical interests are women’s health, adolescent health and preventive healthcare. Her roles as wife, mother and physician keep her busy, but Kim and her family take time to visit parks, attend birthday parties. They also enjoy trips to destinations like Hawaii and Cabo San Lucas.
