I was impressed with the quality of the movers work, they packed well and did a good job keeping most of the furniture and material intact. However, we had two serious issues with them.
1) They didn't arrive when they said they would and charged us for additional transportation hours for a long detour that wasn't necessary; thankfully they eventually reimbursed that.
2) When some of our girls' sports equipment was damaged, they offered no compensation.
If you are to move with them, carefully take photos of all your boxes and expensive items before and after to document damages, otherwise they will deny causing them.

The move went pretty well. I would have given 4 stars for the move itself (the men were pretty fast. They did put boxes in wrong locations despite clear labels- example: boxes labelled basement were put on the top floor which took me about an hour to move to proper locations later).
The reason I’ve gone down to two stars is because the movers damaged my daughter’s crib. It’s an expensive crib, that was in very good condition prior to the move. When I looked at the crib after the movers left there were dark marks and a huge gash in the crib. I sent in a claim and was told that the crib was like this before the move. They told me that my daughter must have chewed the crib. I explained that my daughter isn’t tall enough to reach where the marks were formed. They told me it must have been another child- no other child has been in my daughter’s crib. I was then told that the movers sent images of the crib. I asked to see them, as I was curious to see where these pictures were taken- I was never shown the photos.

After some back and forth they agreed to credit me 100$ for the crib damage.

The best moving experience I ever had. The movers came at the exact time they said they would. They were professional, efficient and fast. Stress-free move. Would highly recommend
I moved with Thériault in 2021 and the experience was amazing that I took their services again in July 2024. Only this time it was horrible. Although I moved the exact same furniture, this time it took 2 trips ( more $), walls and furniture damaged, lost item ( they took the decision to unplug my router that I still didn’t find) and the staff was rude and not professional at all. The problem is not only what happened while moving, but the company itself. I decided to complain (sent pictures too) and specifically ask them to ask their movers what they did with my router that Bell charged me already. Since July I could talk once to a “responsible “ who sent someone to check my walls, close the small holes and said will be back to fix the huge one left in one of the bedrooms and do the painting of all the walls the same day.
Since then, they played dead as for the repairs and the router issue.
I don’t recommend this company and will never take their services again.

I never thought I would have such a great and positive experience for a move. However, the moving team that helped us out was extremely professional, friendly, and caring. I didn’t catch their names however it is the Jean July 29 group. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

They are highly unprofessional!!!!! leading to the worst experience imaginable! The team deliberately worked slowly to inflate their hours, and when we requested them to pick up to the normal human pace, they resorted to threats of halting work altogether. They also insisted on full payment before unloading the truck.
After they left, we discovered that a brand new pair of sunglasses, a mobile phone, and a charger were missing from a drawer.
Despite contacting their office for assistance, they provided no resolution or assistance.
Overall, it was an incredibly frustrating and unsatisfactory experience.

We had a big move to do and were very nervous about the outcome. Roberto and his team at Theriault went far beyond our expectations. The move was so much less stressful with their help. I cannot recommend them enough!

Have used this Company twice already. The first time they did all the packing as well as moving plus storage at their facilities, for my Mother’s house. The 2nd time moving to my new house. Their service is good, very responsive and the movers are professional, polite, good quality and work fast! Special call out to Paulo and his team(Fernando & Ibrahim) who did a great job at my most recent move!
Of all of our moves over the years, this has to be the most professional team we have ever encountered. We had oversized furniture that had to be brought into a narrow stairwell. Still amazed at the service. Fully protected all our goods, not one incident. Quick efficient and honest. Absolutely no surprises. What a team.
Excellent service ! We got Paolo and his men and we could not have asked for a better team. Meticulous, fast, thorough, kind, respectful. Everything was well protected and nothing was damaged.
