A Delightful Lunch Experience

I had a wonderful experience at Scott’s for lunch on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

From the moment I arrived, the service was pleasant and welcoming, with a special shoutout to waiter Matt, who made the experience even more enjoyable.

I opted to sit outside, where I could watch the world go by while enjoying the warm heater beside me. The outdoor seating had a lovely and relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to unwind.

For my first course, I had the eel, which came highly recommended. It was delicious, light, and full of flavor—a great start to the meal. For my main course, I chose the fresh fish & chips, and it did not disappoint. The fish was incredibly fresh and practically melted in my mouth, while the chips were perfectly crunchy, just how I like them.

I decided to skip dessert but finished off my meal with a tasty cappuccino and a refreshing mint tea—a perfect way to end a great dining experience.

Overall, Scott’s provided a relaxing ambiance, outstanding food, and warm hospitality. I truly felt welcomed and look forward to returning soon!

One of my go to places in London for some great seafood. What is even more impressive than the food is the service which pretty old school and highly attentive. 6 ⭐️ for the service.

Excellent, service was very good considering how busy it was. The food was fantastic, a wonderful mix of dishes that were excellent in quality. If you love seafood places this is definitely one to experience

A goto place for amazing seafood.

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the lobster Thermidor and the specially seared sea bass, both cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable—attentive, courteous, and always ready to guide us through the specials of the day.

The only drawback was that the adjacent tables were a bit too close together. Otherwise, a fantastic experience!

Most units in my building are under 500 sqft. I have one of the few larger units, it's a 2 bedroom. Photos were sent showing what needed to be moved but it seems like they saw address and thought it was going to be a quick in and out move. After my stuff was loaded on to the truck the guys decided to call it a day. They intended to leave me without bedding, my prescriptions, toiletries or any furniture. I asked about the 4 wardrobe boxes that were asked for but I was advised they forgot about the boxes and they are now inaccessible because all of my stuff is packed in front. When I spoke with the owner he suggested that I misrepresented how much stuff I have and informed me "we have never spent 3 hours at that address " suggesting I'm a hoarder or something. The owner also suggested that I was not allowing the guys to take lunch. I have no idea where he got that from but that's how I found out the guys skipped lunch because they thought they were getting done early. Anyway they did eventually agree to unload the truck. They left a whole bunch of stuff on my front porch and never gave me wardrobe boxes for my clothes. So today I have to rent a truck to finish the job I hired Scott's to do.

The service is always very good. One of the only professional places in London where waiting staff are fully trained. The food is good and the portions are filling. The menu could be more variant. Not many options for vegetarians or people who wants more vegetable in their food. I really recommend the monkfish and snail entree which comes with grilled Bonemarrow and rich enough to be a main if you’re not a big eater.

📝Notes: Incredible Meal at Scott’s Mayfair! The seared scallops were delicious, and the yellowtail sashimi was incredibly fresh. Seared seabass with pilaf rice was beautifully done, and the Bakewell pudding was the perfect sweet finish. Flawless food and awesome service 🙌🏼🩵

Very classy and elegant interiors located in a fabulous area at Knightsbridge. It is definitely pricey but the food was really good. Service was good but could be a tad better, maybe I didn't look wealthy enough to be there. Nonetheless, worth a try in this historic restaurant.

It was a lovely dining experience. We were a table of 4 and all of us enjoyed the food & wine. We'll definitely be back to try other food in the menu. Pictured: chargrilled squid, half lobster thermidor

A perfect meal for a wedding anniversary, sometimes when a place has a famous reputation it never feels worth the money but this is not the case here. This is the best seafood I have ever eaten with every mouthful being perfectly cooked and balanced with flavour.

We had the octopus carpaccio which is extremely good value and the scallops were perfectly cooked with a lovely sauce.

For mains we had cod and Sea bass with aubergine and potatoes. Every single item was lovely even though I am not usually a sea bass fan.

We just about managed some sorbet, the coconut and lime is best.

The atmosphere is amazing, it is both busy and sociable but not crowded.

The service is also impeccable, never waited more than a second or had to ask for anything however it was not rushed.

Not cheap (to be expected) however for its reputation, quality and location I felt that 280 including the above and a bottle of champagne was "good value" . Will certainly come back.

Wonderful dining experience at Scott's! The food was superb, the drinks were very good, and the attention to detail from service was above and beyond. We were very well cared for from beginning to end. There is a very good range on the wine list with some very approachable affordable wines by the glass/carafe, as well as some more special stuff by the bottle. Price is of course high but felt fair for the experience.

Nice place. Not worth the price they charge for the food. Much better places to have dinner for better quality and same price.

The guys showed up, and managed to remove an old commercial treadmill and take a new commercial treadmill to our basement. This included having to do a bunch of things that weren’t originally supposed to happen (taking things apart to make them fit down the stairs). The guys were all great about the delays and lived up to my expectations of them

The private room offered a sophisticated dining experience. The food was expertly prepared and served, and the waitstaff were very attentive. The elegant atmosphere of the private dining setting provided an ideal environment for discussing business with new partners.

Rented the private dining Renoir room for a business meeting.

Splendid decor and service all around.

Food is absolutely amazing, recommend the lobster thermidor cooked in Hollandaise sauce.

Drink selection is aplenty with nice tea and coffee selections after your meal.

Staff are friendly and greeted us discreetly as expected.

The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is friendly from the door man to the waitresses. Everyone works seamlessly in coordination. The waitress was knowledgeable and could give us more in depth of the dishes and the wine that we ordered.
The food it was tasty and nicely cooked. I did love the Octopus Carpaccio as starter. Everything else was good.
I do recommend the restaurant especially because the service it was on point.

Scott’s is a seafood restaurant originated as “Scott’s oyster rooms” in Haymarket in the 1850s or earlier. It would become “Scott’s Oyster and Supper Rooms” in 1891, and moved to its present location in Mount Street in 1967. Scott’s was a favourite of Ian Fleming. It is one of London’s solid establishments. I found the food to be ok but nothing appealing. The Bakewell Pudding dessert on the other hand was absolutely amazing.
