McMinniman's moved my things from Saint John to the Fredericton area and did an excellent job. The digital walk-through was very helpful and allowed them to see what all I had and Jeremy was very detailed. He prepared a fair quote quickly and was responsive to my questions. The movers who came were timely, careful and friendly. I highly recommend this company!

Sean, Matt and Jamie from the Oromocto/Fredericton office arrived on time and tetris-ed a heavy, full-sized elliptical trainer down to my basement gym area for the agreed-upon price (thanks, Jeremy!). Excellent service, reasonable rate, will definitely use again for any required moves. Thanks, guys!

Avoid this place.

We were initially quoted $400 but ended up being charged $776. The movers arrived an hour late, and during the journey to the second destination, I witnessed them stopping and waiting in a parking lot for 30 minutes. When I questioned this, the dispatcher couldn't explain the delay or the additional hour charge. Instead, he attributed the lateness to a different route taken to our second destination. I even had video evidence of them pulling into a parking lot and waiting.

We were charged $776 to move a couch, dresser, bed, small deep freeze, and an air conditioner just 15 kilometers away.

No investigation was done into this nor was there any reimbursement given. We were faced with hostility when calling to company to ask about these discrepancies.

My advice is to spend your money elsewhere.

Our experience from start to finish was excellent. The team at McMinniman's were professional and very well organized.

For instance: 1) our office move estimate was delivered promptly via email, which provided all the important details in relation to the move, 2) days before the move we received a phone call to see if we had any questions or concerns and to make sure the prearranged time for the move was still suitable, 3) on the day of the move we received another phone call to make sure everything was still on schedule from our end, and the movers arrived on time, as scheduled.

The movers were courteous and friendly and worked well as a team to get the job done quickly. Nothing was damaged and we would definitely work with this company again! Thanks to the team at McMinniman's Moving and Storage, our move was done with ease!

Our experience with McMinniman's was thoroughly positive from start to finish. The estimate was complete and accurate. They were always responsive and prompt with any inquiries we had. We had a complication with our closing date and they were accommodating with a slight change of the original plan at a very stressful time. All of the moving staff were professional, positive and caring with our belongings and the interior of our home. There was no damage to anything. An added bonus was the great sense of humor of the moving staff on move out and move in days. It was very much appreciated. We recommend this moving company as they provided great and professional service.

I heard about this moving company from my friend. My friend moved from Fredericton, NB to Alberta, with lots of stuff, beds, tables, bookshelves, etc., etc. The company went to their Fredericton home, and estimated how much should be the cost first (so they could prepare). After estimation, the company sent people to dismantle the furniture, ship it, and later, put it together in Alberta.
My case was moving from Fredericton to Vancouver. I had 48 boxes of books and clothes. All 48 boxes fast arrived in Vancouver with good shape. I am happy with their service.

From the first point of contact I felt like I had made a good choice in moving company. McMinniman's is responsive, friendly, professional and reliable. I have always moved myself with a U-Haul because I felt the price for movers was not worth it but let me tell you, it is SO worth it. I will never move myself again. I actually came in at less than the quote which was a nice surprise. 10/10 will be using them again if we ever move to another house.
