Practicing Gastroenterology in Long Island for nearly 30 years, my focus has expanded beyond screening and advanced procedures, including ERCP and endoscopy suturing, to recognizing the central aspect of the gut as it relates to general states of health. Disorders of the Gut Brain Interaction (DGBI) and the role of microbiome are [part of my expanded focus, incorporating narrative medicine, Eastern practices and mediation as a complement to high level traditional treatments.
