Rude, threatening, obnoxious, and a bully. The young guys were good, but the older one, absolute asshat.. The lady they were moving was terrified that they would cause her harm.

How anyone could be this cruel to a woman in her 60's is beyond the pale. Now they are thieves to boot. They are keeping her furniture, drove away with half her stuff still in the truck.

Police have been notified.

So, after the police arrived, a BOLO was sent out to have the truck return to the delivery location. With the police on hand, the remainder of the delivery went smoothly.

Ben is a bully, and a misogynist, and behaves like a child. Trying to extort more money from the lady...disgusting. These positive reviews? Friends and family. No one else would ever give a positive review.

We have immense praise for Ben's Moving. He was professional, accommodating, cautious with all our possessions, and competent throughout the entire moving process. He and his helper showed up to load our possessions exactly when he said he would even though he had to drive for four hours to get to us. Everything was delivered in perfect condition with great courtesy, efficiency and complete attention to our needs. The price was competitive with other movers we approached. We highly recommend Ben's Moving for all your moving needs.

We recently used Bens Moving to move from one home in Mission to the other. The first three gentlemen that arrived were on time, prompt, and courteous. I would say their professionalism was TOP rate. Then, in the afternoon two other young men arrived. This is where things turned really sour. One of the young men had a HUGE chip on his shoulder. I am the homeowner and he was saying things to me like "Who has this much stuff?" and "Why do you have this much crap?". Every single thing that was left he would say "Do we have to take this?" I would reply "Yes, please" and he would say "Well, its going to cost you!". At one point he said "This move is going to cost you two thousand dollars (unfortunately he was almost right!). He was whining that he wanted to go to McDonalds and stood around criticizing our stuff ("Why do you need this?"). Our main shaw cable gateway was still plugged in and at one point, I was asked if we needed to bring it - I replied "yes". They unplugged the electronic equipment and packed the shelf that it was on into the moving truck at my request. When they arrived at the other end, they unloaded the truck, but this time did not take their shoes off (the first load NO shoeprints were left anywhere, they used floor runners and took shoes off every time). This second load there was SUCH a mess left behind. A few things were chipped (including the corner of my custom made dining room table), but they unloaded it quickly. Then came time for the bill: we were charged $150 per hour for three men and a truck as agreed; but the two extra fools they sent us we were charged $120 per hour for (no third guy, no truck!). We were also charged a fuel surcharge, so the final bill was over $1750. The icing on the cake was when, the next morning Shaw arrived and I needed that box that had been unplugged. My husband and I searched and searched but we couldn't find it. So, I called Ben and asked him to ask his guys if they had an idea which box it was in. Ben called back and said that they indicated they hadn't packed up anything like that. I asked him to have the rude guy call me, because I distinctly remember him unplugging the cable from the back of the box. Rude guy calls and says "Well, if we brought it - then it's in a box - so just search all of the boxes". Yeah, 2 five tonne trucks worth of boxes but I'll search every last box while the shaw guy stands here waiting. Thanks for nothing. We had pre-booked my mother in laws move with Ben and promptly cancelled it. When we told Ben we were cancelling, he didn't ask why - or indicate any kind of care for his clientele. I will NEVER EVER use Bens moving or recommend them to anyone ever again.

We used Ben's Moving to move our belongings from Langley to a storage locker in Abbotsford. We were very impressed with the service. They were here on time (early) and worked very hard. Chris and Scott were the gentlemen that moved us. They introduced themselves, shoes off, worked very hard and were very polite. We will definitely be using Ben's Moving when we need movers again. Five stars for sure!!

We just used Ben's Moving to move my mother from one condo in Abbotsford to another. They came at the time promised, worked hard to load and unload her things, and were very professional the whole time. They did not waste time bur worked continuously until they were finished. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a mover.

I had Ben come move me out of our family home. He came and gave me attitude saying he could only do half the job because he's understaffed and a last minute job came up that offered him more money. He said "I hope you can understand" so now I'm stuck with trying to find a last minute lover to move half our house! He's rude, has no staff and inconsiderate!!! Beware of Bens moving!!!

Recently moved my father across Abbotsford. This was the second time we used Ben's moving as we were so pleased with the first experience. These guys really know what they are doing and were friendly and curteous and work at warp speed. They had a "no problem" attitude when asked to move a couple more pieces of furniture than we had expected to take. There wasn't a scratch on anything , these fellows really take pride in the job they do, and we are so appreciative. On top of everything the price is very reasonable.

Had a BAD experience moving into my town home. Owner was very rude, was racist, and didn't seem to care about his customers business. We got into an argument and he told us he "didn't expect the move would take so long" and was angry with us for "having too many stairs" in our home. He gave the impression he had better places to be.

I used Bens moving in 2013 to move my small business and things went well. Recently my daughter called to move her appartment. A rather disinterested man took her first call and was non committal. On the second call he pretty much was sarcastic and blew her off. NO MORE REFRRALS. How unprofessional. All my friends and business associates will be informed.

I recently had Ben and Trevor do a move for me from Chilliwack, BC to Lillooet, BC and I want to thank you both for the excellent care you took while handling all my belongings. The move was done effeciently and professionally and on time. What a great team effort. I would highly recommend this moving company to anyone.

We recently moved from Abbotsford to Cloverdale . As we had to move one load to our daughters and one load to our condo we had two separate trips . Both moves were done efficiently, quickly and absolutely no problem . The employees were real nice guys and very helpful . Have already recommended Ben's to a lot of neighbors who might be moving shortly .

Excellent service...moved from Surrey to Langley...nothing got broken. Efficient, quick, very helpful and polite two men who carried my heavy plant pots like nobody's business. Also helped me immensely with my treadmill. Worth every penny. Thank you so much.

Excellent,well, nobody's perfect ! These guys and their boss went out of their way to move us across town in Hope several years ago with their new BIG truck. Now, we'll be calling them again soon. Great crew and very approachable.

I have only good things to say. Polite, efficient, proffessional and priced affordably. They turned a really stressful move into a positive experience.

I used Ben's back in June to move from Langley to Abbotsford. Best movers I have ever used. The guys were experienced, efficient, quick(they ran up the stairs), courteous and most importantly, experienced. Both our guys had years of experience, not just a few days or weeks like a lot of the "big name" movers hire as secondary help.

I have since recommended them to 5 other people and also used them in my workplace. Everyone has been nothing but completely satisfied.

My May 2010 move from Mission to Abbotsford with Ben's was nothing but an outstanding experience in every respect. The 3 movers were careful, polite and I got the impression that they cared for my furniture as if it was their own. They shrink wrapped blankets around most pieces and everything arrived unscathed.
