I really love this park, beautiful pond and parks. It is very quiet where our home is located. We enjoy living here and despite what others say find it very well managed.

You got to be kidding me....old reviews....
Been here since 2004...and its the worst management since I have been here.
Recent review forJan/2022
- High lots rents...and getting worse service now than the previous years and management
- Parkbridge and Parkland Village managment that appear to be disfunctional
- High water bills that keep going up for no apparent reason
- Many homes being sold and being pulled out
- Pond is dirty and smelly at times
- Never answers to why it can be fixed...just answers why it can''t be

Do youself a favor....other Parks in the county of Parkland .... check them out

I've been in the park for over 5 years and every year it's gone up atleast 20 bucks. There has been no significant changes or improvements to warrant the steady increases.

We have lived in Parkland Village for a number of years and are very pleased with our purchase. Parkland Village is located close to all amenities such as grocery stores, many major necessary retail outlets, restaurants, schools and facilities. We thoroughly enjoy the easy access to all. We especially love the sence of community and the friendly neighborhood. Buying at Parkland Village has been one of the best decisions we have made. A++++++++

I have been living in Parkland Village for 5 years and it has been great. It is quiet and perfect for my family. I have had no problems with my neighbors or the office. Very nice, clean and well maintained. Anyone looking for a home should not hesitate to buy here. A very nice community!

I bought a place here some 5 years ago. At that time Lot Rent was reasonable around 350 or so. This month its gone up to 590 a month. Actually decedent place to live except Lot Rent. If the powers to be don't start getting reasonable with the Lot Rent no one will be left living here and no one will want to buy here. To me I think its nothing but greed to keep increasing Lot Rent, it does not cost millions (Which they collect every year) to run this community I have seen nothing, heard nothing, or any reasonable reason to keep increasing it every year. Great comment by Long Term Resident Of Parkland Village its excally big business that's out of touch with real people. I just realized somehow my trailer keeps deprecating every year even though housing prices are going threw the roof. Guess no one wants to buy here.

I have lived here for 10 years and can't wait to get the ##@#@#@ out of here. The rent increases every year and depreciates the value of your mobile home.. Come June of the coming year the rent increases to about $595 a month which is ridiculous pricing for what you get. I looked into meridian village mobile trailer park in Stony Plain and they are $350 per month. Why are we $245 per month more. 10 years ago we were paying $320 per month in Parkland Village for lot rent and 10 years later Stony Plain is that price. WTF. In the winter instead of removing the snow like they used to in which you are paying for in your rent, they simply plow it onto your sidewalks, property your renting , and plow it into your driveways so they can be more profitable and the office administration cuts a buck and get their bonuses at our expenses. PLEASE DON'T BE A FOOL LIKE THE REST OF US AND BUY A TRAILER IN HERE, TAKE OUR ADVICE AND RUN TO MOBILE CITY ESTATES IN THE GROVE OR MERIDIAN MEADOWS IN STONY PLAIN-THE ADVICE IS FREE THE STUPIDITY IS COSTLY. RUN , RUN, RUN. I WAS STUPID PLEASE DON'T BE LIKE ME FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.

we have lived in parkland for about 6 years and I cant wait to get out with the price of lot rents going up every year and what we pay on our mortgage we can afford a house. I mean everything else is ok there, neighbours are great, its quiet enough, etc.. Its the cost, where is the affordable living???

I've lived in Parkland Village for over 30 years. I would have moved years ago but the banks said NO CAN DO. The problems outlined in the previous reviews are correct. The problems, however, have little to do with Parkland Village per-Se but with Parkbridge who owns and manages the park along with several other mobile home parks across Canada. This is a large corporate organization, a business. They are completely out of touch with the residents and only seem to be able to regard the residents as cash-cows. They delight in seeing their profits high and their overhead low, milking the residents for all they can get. I have experienced heavy-handed, almost threatening, letters for getting behind in home maintenance because of what most regard as unjustified, hyper increases in lot rent, not to mention inflated fees for everything from water and sewage to garbage pickup. If anyone asks me what it's like living in PV I always tell them to save their money and avoid the stress; stay away.

I've Lived here for three years now, People can complain about the cars with loud music and whatnot but there isn't much anyone can expect the park management too do. My issue personally is each year the lot rent has gone up somewhere between 30 - 50 dollars and absolutely nothing is given back for it. The water and sewer isn't even included, It's a seperate bill added on top of the rent. The maintenance is mediocre at best, In the winter after a heavy snowfall, they wait a few days before sending in their dinky half ton plow trucks but by then the snow on the road has turned too hard pack and the plows aren't heavy enough too peel it up. So the roads end up being horrible for 8 months of the year. And being surrounded by farmland, The mosquito population is almost unacceptable in the summer. Making it hard too enjoy a bonfire in the back yard. Too put it simply, I pay a pretty hefty sum each month for a patch of grass that I can use for 4 months of the year. Garbage pickup is the only thing included, and they just replaced our large grey bins that hold roughly 4 garbage bags with a new one that can hold 2 bags. The selling point for this place was the "Affordable living", My wife and I thought we could save living here... All in all, We put out as much each month as we would in a nice bigger house and a lot that we own in spruce grove.

Also, The hours of the front office are basically normal working hours 9 - 5:30 I believe, closed on weekends and holidays. Makes it awfully tricky too try and get in too pay the lot rent on time. Not very well thought out...

They also don't allow dogs that are taller than 18", And denied me from adopting a husky mix. He had long legs, but weighed only 45 pounds and was full grown. I even offered too bring him in too show them but was just told "Absolutely not allowed"... Kinda Bull considering I'm leasing the lot from them.

A positive is that it is generally quiet during the week at night and you don't really have too worry about crime in the area.

I don't recommend moving here, but if you want too I know a place that will be up for sale soon ;)

Over the years, the management have made some great improvements to park and over 400 new families have moved in. It is nice to see!

i have lived here 17 years and things have gone from good to worse over the years, Rent will go up every year by $35-50 like clock work and you wont see anywhere in the park where that money goes to, you may see the odd flower pot or bench put in for the kids to vandalize. you have to put up with having your garbage can stolen which will cost you $90 ever time the county replaces it, you will have to put up with speeding cars at all hours along with the loud music all of which the management is powerless to do anything about. the lake area in the summertime is party central with loud teenagers, the walking paths in the summer will be cover is goose s#i# in which no attempt to clean it are made, but when your small dog make a less mess and you are accused of not cleaning it up you can count on letters from our fearless management cracking the whip. there is a bar in the park so you will get to hear all the drunks go home after closing time, the overpriced store will usually recieve a rock through the front window a gew times a year from our board teens.
we also have a community center that nobody uses, but you can rent for top dollar.
you will be happy to know that any and all water problem you WILL encounter will be YOUR expensive problem, every year they have less and less responsibility for what they are responsible for.
they will be quick to tell you to mow you lawn or shovel your snow via letter stuffed in your door, but they are excempt this rule it appears.
My advise would be save your money and buy a house it will be cheaper and you will able to sell it easier if you want, to sell your house here is almost impossable, take a drive around the park and look at all the for sale signs in the windows, the park does not allow that either by the way, this should really tell a person this community has problems, sure has to potential of being a grate place to live but it's not.

i have been living at parkland village for a few years and i have been having the same problems year after year...
we have the same layout as most homes in the park where one of the bedrooms are at the front where my kids sleep. being said with cars driving by with their music blasting to the point where my windows in my home rattle and wake my children. i dont feel that i should have to hear there thumping of their music and the rattling of my windows thru out the day and night. there have been many times where there have been street racing down the main street in and out of the park.when phoned in i get the run around with "i will look into it", "its not my problem since its after hours", " you should call the police because we are just office people here" excuse after excuse i hear and still nothing has been done. the max speed in the park is 30 km/hr.. and i know there is a quite curfew after 11 but with the music blasting and shaking my home i have issues with that.. isnt there a resendental law? or a respect that can folowed thru? yes i heard and seen that they have a security car driving around but what good does it do when the "gaurd" is sleeping by the mail boxes.

i feel that we all pay alot of money for padrent or rentals shouldnt parkland village fix these issue..even thou the manager of parkland village lives in sherwood park. just because you dont live here doesnt mean it can be ignored

It would be helpful if you provided your hours of operation on your phone message as I can not find the hours and that would be good information to have.
