Dr. Sands became a Doctor of Chiropractic care because of his own personal experience as a patient. At age 12, he experienced a fall and sought the care of a chiropractor for the lower back pain that resulted from this injury. It worked and far better than he imagined. The doctor he saw learned of his chronic sore throats that resulted in bouts of strep and tonsillitis. The doctor helped his sore throats with periodic adjustments. This weak part of his body strengthened and eliminated his reoccurring throat infections and tonsillitis. Dr. Sands learned that chiropractic care is a restorative health solution for the entire body. He still holds that same passion today and has helped countless patients with their obvious and not as obvious ailments. Dr. Sands has 3 daughters. He attended Luther College for his undergraduate education and Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Dr. Sands graduated magus sum Laude in 1992 from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He has practiced in Rochester since his graduation from Chiropractic College.
