Dr. Katherine Garcia holds triple board certification in internal medicine, medical Oncology and Hematology. She completed her fellowship at NYU Long Island School of Medicine in Mineola, New York. Dr. Garcia is particularly interested in Thoracic malignancies. In addition to being dedicated to providing the latest and most individualized care for her patients, including clinical trials, she takes a holistic approach to ensure the best comprehensive care and quality of life from day one of their treatment onwards. She has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and has been involved in numerous projects that have been presented nationally and internationally. She is an active member of both the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
