Born and raised in Lafayette, Dr. Emily Richard received her Bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in 2008 and her Medical Degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. After completing medical school in 2012, Dr. Richard stayed in New Orleans to complete her residency in Dermatology at the LSU Health Science Center.
Dr. Richard was in a private practice in Waynesboro, VA for 3 years before joining The Baton Rouge Clinic's Dermatology Department in July of 2019. She is a member of and Board Certified by the American Academy of Dermatology, and licensed in the states of Virginia and Louisiana.
Dr. Richard is married with 2 children and she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, including hiking, swimming, playing baseball and tennis.
