Redhead is a native of Natchez, Mississippi who earned his B.A. from the University of Mississippi in 1984 and his M.D. in 1988. He then performed his Internal Medicine residency through the University of Florida, completing his program in 1991. He also holds a Fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology from the University of Colorado and National Jewish Center. Dr. Redhead is board-certified in Allergy and Clinical Immunology and is licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana. He serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Tulane University in New Orleans and is a member of the Louisiana Allergy Society.
