Outstanding customer service & great value. The sales person truely helped to fit us to the perfect bed. He explained everything and told us we did not have to spend a fortune to get the right bed. Delivery guys were polite and quick, they even helped move an older bed to the basement.

Sounds to me like CHICO123 got consumed with trying to find the best deal and lost sight of trying to find the right bed that was the right feel. If you take your time and pick the most comfortable bed you shouldn't need any exchanges let alone 3 or 4.

We bought a "top of the line" bed at Sleep Country. This was the most expensive mistake of our lives. Our first associate appeared to be great in that he spent time with us to select an appropriate bed for me. I tried out many beds with varying support systems. Finally we came to a "top of the line" bed with a decent price. When we decided to leave and not to take the bed (because it was still out of our price range) the associate said that we could just take the bed and return it if we didn't like it. He told us that it couldn't hurt to try the bed out, and gave us an additional discount. He told us that we could exchange beds as many times as we wanted and that he would help us find our "ideal" bed. He actually said, "You can exchange the bed 3 or 4 times, but we'd be very unhappy if you exchanged the bed 8 times!! *chuckle chuckle*".

We should not have trusted this associate because Sleep Country actually does not allow for more than one exchange. This associate outright lied to us. Later on when the bed began to create problems with my body, we decided to take the bed back. The next associate hassled us (so much for Sleep Country's "hassle free" policy). I won't get into the nitty gritty parts of our discussion but in the end, I had to become very stern and somewhat aggressive. It pains me to remember having to talk to this associate like one of my difficult teenage students. We ended up buying a cheaper bed (sticker price was $2200, we're paying $1900) for $700 more than the "top of the line" bed (sticker price $3000, we paid $1200). Since we could not get a refund for our first horrible bed, we were stuck without any negotiating cards. Sleep Country is horrible.
