Heidi treated me with accupuncture at European massage, 1140 Burnhamthorpe, Industrial Unit #123 (around back of plaza), Mississauga, ON. I wasn't 100% certain about letting her treat me as she seemed a little psycho right from the start. I hadn't had accupuncture in the past and let her know this. Still, she showed no sympathy for my newness and responded to my questions with kurt sarcasism aimed at scaring me and a total lack of professionalism. For example, when I asked if there's any possibility of her sticking one of the needles into a nerve. She answered with... "yep". And then she sat there looking at me as if to take pleasure in the way she was manipulating my vulnerability. I was feeling uncomfortable with her approach to helping me. I asked her if there's a chance she could accidentally stick the needle in the pinched nerve. She said... "oh yeah, it's a possibility... yep" And then sat there looking at me again as if to wallow in her successful emotional manipulation of a vulnerable person. I asked more questions and got more of the same in return. Finally, she told me that in actuality, the chance of her pricking a nerve with an accupuncture needle is probably the same as being in a plane crash. She then spoke to me compassionately and appeared to be truly interested in my concerns. She was a little too sarcastic in the beginning but because she lightened up a bit and showed what appeared to be genuine caring for my legitimate concerns, I decided to go ahead with the treatment. After the treatment I commented that I'd like to be back to work, if possible, in a few days. I told her that I have seen a chiropractor and asked if it's okay to have both chriopractic and accupuncture treatment in the same day. She told me that because I told her about wanting to return to work so soon that I was over doing it and she will not contribute to that type of behaviour. She told me that she would not treat me the next day and would only give me a half hour massage on the day following the next. When I asked why I couldn't get a 1 hour (or 45 minute) massage she told me that she is a "HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL" And she will decide how much treatment I need and when I need it and after hearing how anxious I was to get back to work she would not allow me to have daily massages nor would she allow me to have more than half hour massages when she did allow me to have one(I know... pretty screwed up).

Now that I've been treated by her - twice - I can speak from experience when I say she is one messed up lady - conrol freak manipulator that likes to puppeteer men and project her own issues onto them. I was polite and respectful; never acted out of line with her; I certainly didn't deserve to be treated with disregard and manipulation.

I spoke to Tom, the owner. He said he would give me 15 minutes of free consultation to make up for it. I told him that a lot of places I spoke with were willing to offer free consultation so he said he would include a bit of massage in the consultation. So, what's that.... 7 and a half minutes of consultation and 7.5 minutes of massage? No thanks, Tom. If that's your idea of making up for a bad experience... I'm not interested. At this point... It will better serve more people by posting my experience online.
