Growing up, my mom was an operating room nurse. This introduced me to medicine and specifically, surgery. That interest has grown over time and has led me to my current position as a surgeon specializing in endocrine surgery. I approach each patient on an individual basis. While a diagnosis can be the same between two patients, the approach to treatment can vary. I aim to deliver high-quality, state-of-the-science care to each patient, but tailor it in ways that allows everyone to feel comfortable through the process. When I am not at work, my wife and I love to explore different restaurants and local markets. We also frequent local parks and trails with our dog.
