don't bother leaving a message to book an appointment because they never call you back.
how are you suppose to get an appointment when there's no one at the desk and they don't return a call requesting an appointment? I left a message a month ago and didn't get a call back.
there's too much competition out there to treat clients this way.

I have had fairly chronic back pain, in one recurring spot in my lower back, since 2010. At first, quarterly massage kept it at bay, then it became a monthly requirement, then that wasn't even often enough. I'd get relief for perhaps 2 weeks then it would creep back in. It wasn't crippling, but was certainly uncomfortable to remain seated at my office job, and also affected my performance in my extracurricular sports and activities -- both physically and mentally since I'd hold back to prevent causing pain. This meant that neither sitting nor moving was making my body happy: excellent.

Not one, but TWO coworkers recommended Ankyo, so I went there. My RMT is Tricia, and I cannot speak highly enough of her work!! Tricia did not simply work on the affected area to loosen it up, but instead delved into what the root cause was (turns out my hip was a factor - who knew?!?) and since starting to see her, I can't even tell you what my "schedule" is, as the need has become so infrequent! It's July right now, and I believe the last time I saw her was.. when it was just starting to get cold outside. Yes, I believe it was October or November, so that means I have been pretty much free of discomfort for at least 8 months!!

As nice as it is to just have someone give you a workover that relaxes you or even one that causes you a little bit of muscle pain in the next few days, I swear, seeing Tricia who can get the proper mechanics back into place is such a huge relief, and so worth it whether you have coverage or not!!

(Did I mention I also saw a physio about it, which also only provided me temporary relief?)
