That 1 star, is really a -5 but since we need to give it a star rating, I picked 1. I waited for two months for them to fix a problem that would have the cold water shut off while I showered. Minutes or seconds after that, the hot shut off and I got cold water. I guess that was to ease the pain from the hot water scalding. Light in the laundry room hasn't worked for about two months, nadda. Nothing being done. A/C unit broke down in my suite so they replaced it but the new unit is smaller than the old one so their solution, just leave all the Styrofoam and whatnot exposed. Yup, there is a gap of 1-2 inches all the way around. Damn attractive that is. Carpets are very poorly installed and have lumps and bumps. It is ridiculous. I wonder if the dad knows his son is destroying what was a good name when dad was in control. Marwest, stay away from them. I have a cat so I am limited in where I go but this is pathetic. Oh yeah, but karma got them when mother nature ripped the roof off a condo they own. They don't want to do the little repairs so mother nature said, okay, here's a big one to deal with! Oh, and the maintenance, they go out of their way to do a crappy job, like when my light fixture blew up over my head. That was fun.

For the amount of rent this is an awful place to live at. Caretakers are very lazy and do not bother with cleaning above the 1st floor and there is 15. They don't want to take responsibility for anything. From broken washers and dryers to elevators that seem to always be down. If you want hot water forget it. Your lucky if you can get water period. They have been saying for over a year now that they are fixing the hot water and still not done. In their infinite wisdom they have (school bell) like fire alarms in apt hallway that go off day and night. They are so loud it is enough to give you a heart attack. If you can actually find a caretaker on grounds and there are 3 or 4 good luck! Oh and don't go knocking on their doors because they will be sarcastic and unkind. So rent keeps going up and the quality keeps going down.

Terrible. Lazy building caretakers but highly demanding. Elevator breaks down every other day. All caretakers live on the ground level and that is the only level they will clean or look after.

Toilet broken? They will tell you it's not their problem, or that they don't have the money for it. Nevermind the fact they seem to have money to renovate the entire bottom floor they live on. I had to threaten legal action before they would call a plumber.

Appliances are old, the dishwasher in my unit doesn't work. They will not pay to have it fixed.

Fire alarms go off constantly, and I mean constantly, at all hours of the day and night.

Management will constantly slip threatening notes under your door in broken english, despite the fact that whatever their issue is, has nothing to do with you. In my case it usually has to do with parking - I don't even own a car.

Guest parking is not for guests, but for building managements family and friends to use as they please.
