Gannons Narrows Marina

I purchased a 2018 boat from a different dealership 2 months ago, on the first ride out the 2018 Evinrude etec G2 250HP Blew up. As you can imagine the disappointment I had, I immediately called the dealership that I purchased the boat from. To my shock the attitude that I received about how little the dealership cared was to say the least, disgusting.
So with really no "second plan" I asked a few fellow boaters, "where should I take it?" Gannons Narrows Marina was mentioned a few times, I gave them a call and on the first attempt someone actually answered the phone! I spoke with a lovely lady and gave her my " cole's" notes version of what I was going through.
She seemed very concerned and told me that the owner Warren will call me back. A few short hours later and sure enough I did hear back from Warren. He told me to get the boat down asap so he could have a look.
The next day I brought the boat down and left it with him.
It was diagnosed that yes in fact the #2 piston was gone and that I would need a new power head.!
In record time Warren had the new power head delivered and installed. I could not be any happier!!! The level of service was top notch, and his " tell it to you straight" attitude is exactly what you should expect from a guy that works 7 days a week to put families back on the water!
Warren you were an absolute gentleman through the repair of my Evinrude outboard. I would recommend anyone to take your boat and have it serviced by this location.

I have been dealing with Gannon Narrows Marine for over 15 years. The work they have done for me is outstanding. They do more than they are asked to do. I have had many different motors over the years from a 3hp to a 150hp, each motor is treated with the same diligence. I have found them to be very honest and reliable. I bring my boat there from Hamilton because I believe there is not a more reliable mechanic than at Gannon Narrows Marine. If you want the best go there.

Terrible customer service owner is arrogant and has no customer relations skills. Requested he check 3 outboards and see if they would run and service as needed. After two weeks and no call we stopped in and asked about the motors and he stated all done. He said two started and the smaller 3hp wouldn't and said it would be $100. My son and I asked what he did and said what you asked me to and started them. I asked did he service them and he became irritated and said I started them like you asked. I asked - did you check the plus, change the gear oil and he was annoyed at our questions. He asks for $100 and doesn't want to give any info. We asked to speak to the mechanic and he said he was gone. So it appears for $100 he will start your motor for you. I know there is a minimum but at least elaborate. Don't trust this guy and I would never return. I used to buy my fuel here ($400 a tank) but I won't any longer. he won't see another dollar from me.
