A career in healthcare was the only career option I ever imagined for myself as a child. I decided to become a nurse and eventually a nurse practitioner after volunteering in a hospital after completing undergrad in the early 2000s. The firsthand look at the awesome work nurse practitioners do solidified my plans. I believe being a nurse practitioner is a privilege accepted by people who are passionate about using their skills and knowledge to help others. I am committed to providing comprehensive, individualized primary care services. I am especially interested in health promotion, management of chronic illnesses, and health-related education for patients and family members.
