Dr. Slavik continued his education by learning important spinal decompression techniques such as the KDT decompression technique. He is a member of the Disc Centers of America, which is the largest non-surgical spinal decompression organization, and in 2022 he was certified by the IDEA in non-surgical spinal decompression, which is the only post-graduate college backed organization.
