I was in their neighbor's yard for just two hours and felt very bad. They put up a barrier of double-stacked container boxes so we couldn't see what they were doing in the metal scrap yard, but it was very noisy with activity. I could see and feel some kind of dust falling on me. I had a long day, so I crashed without washing myself that night. The next morning, I woke up early with my eyes watering, and my mouth tasted like metal. I took a long bath to remove whatever was on my skin, and I cried thinking about my friend's family and her little girl living so close to this metal dust and not being able to just wash it off.

Gold Star Metals is allowing their waste to pollute surrounding neighborhoods despite locals speaking out regarding illness, heavy pollution and noise disturbances. They have reported unexplainable symptoms and the company fails to implement any dust capture procedures to alleviate the issues locals have been plagued with since this facility’s inception.

This place has caused me and people I know to get sick from rashes, warts, CANCER. The doctors don't know what it is a lot of the times. I'm not against the cleaning of these pipes, but please move them somewhere that won't kill everyone around the neighborhood. It smells so bad like fireworks and gives me headaches every now and then. They also drop the pipes on the ground super LOUD and shakes the houses around us and the foundation. Maybe that's why we're having our sewage backups. Please keep your chemicals AWAY from here.

Very slow loading you can literally look back and see they are having conversations. literally 1 pallet every 20 minutes and that's after waiting an hour after you wait in them to start loading
