Rex Lumber Corporation

This is quite small lumberyard but I got what I was looking for at a v.good price. Service was quick and polite

I had no problem with rex lumber, they had what I was looking for at a better price then I got somewhere else and the service was flawless.

I used them as a recommendation of a friend of mine, who was not really in the construction business but new about them. Their yard was actually close to my house. I had a really poor experience with this company, they were not professional at all. I paid for the stock that I've ordered, I've paid for the delivery and I was waiting for over 2 week to get the products. The person at the office told me it would be delivered next day by 2pm. I did not even get a call next day from the Rex Lumber saying it's not being delivered. After I made over 5 calls next day, I finally got to talk to somebody, after talking time after time with rude secretaries. Anyways, I got my stuff 2 weeks late, my project was on hold for 2 weeks, and when I had to come back after 3 more weeks to pick up an extra 10 ft. of one of the profiles I bought form them, they DID NOT have it anymore.

The company is owned by an old Italian Gentleman who can who speaks poor English, most of the people working there are "familia" and therefore all of your complains and request will go unheard as it's all "family business"

If you want to be frustrated or if you just don't care about your business and clients, work with Rex Lumber, if you want good service and good results of the job DO NOT come close to this firm. BTW their products are also not that good.

I like Central FairBank Lumber, a little more money, but way better service, free delivery, Great product, big selection and results of your job are great.
