A few years ago I was doing a small project in my home and needed a piece of MDF board a certain size. One of the employees offered to cut it at no charge...earning my respect.
Today, my mother in law and wife went back for some shelving material and requested that it be cut to fit and were told to take it home and cut it themselves. They informed the person that this had been done in the past and were again advised that this was not offered by Copps.
Sad to think that, in this day of competition and electronic communication, the store employees wouldn't be instructed to service their customers...the number one asset to the organization.
Oh well..!
By the way, Home Depot were MORE than helpful and have earned our repeat business and 'word of mouth' advertising from now on.
