From the office in Oviedo, Florida, founder Dr. Jeffrey R. Golen, MD, and the team specialize in comprehensive ophthalmology to provide their patients with the best eye care possible.
Dr. Golen is originally from the metropolitan Detroit area of Michigan, and has always loved science. Throughout his adolescence, he was particularly attracted to biology and was torn between becoming a scientist or a physician. He notes that the building of community and daily interaction with patients pointed him toward medicine rather than scientific research.
