Once you buy there your on your own. Read the fine print on the invoice no returnes or exchange items. Well guess what they will mark it down even a buck just to say it was on sale. Buyer beware when you shop there. I won’t even by a light bulb from those crocks!

I honestly do not understand the negativity of reviews on this website! My husband and I are new to Windsor and just recently bought a house and of course we came to the Lighting Boutique (even though reviews were bad), which surprisingly was a wonderful experience! The whole process of buying lighting is much, much harder than we originally thought and we visited the store several times before making up our minds, and by doing that we dealt with pretty much all of the sales employees of the store, and might I say - all of them were so helpful and unique in their own little ways! I got several opinions and help on choosing what was right for my home, and they guided us to what matches, what suits the rooms and the house, and doing this all in my budget! Personally, I suggest going here. Its much easier going there where employees care about what you get rather than just to get your money. I can say that I'm happy with my choice in coming to the Lighting Boutique for all of my lighting needs. The quality of our choices are splendid!

I am new to Windsor and was referred to the Lighting Boutique. I was told later it is common knowledge these people are crooks. Prices on items mean nothing,,it's all about what they think they are able to sting you for. Not only did I over pay, but in 1 month 12 pot lights burnt out, with below average use, of approximately 3-4 hours a day use. When I called to complain, I was called a liar and must have left the lights on for the entire month. Very rude when confronted with legitimate complaint.

Treated very well, no pressure, provided all info needed to make an informed decision. Prices absolutely competitive, will go back when we needed other appliances

Attempted to resolve a issue with Ray and was told to use the same door that I entered the store with. I asked if he would mind me writing a review and he said "you're a RETARD." Truly a business to avoid.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Dan is THE BEST. He was very professional , helpful and very knowledgeable . He also offered me a great deal on my appliances and set them all up for me. I would highly recommend anyone who is shopping for appliances to go see Dan . I usually shop around for the best deal but Dan made my experience effortless. I purchased all of my appliances for my new home with him and still got a great deal and amazing quality with exceptional service . I wouldn't go anywhere else if I had to go through this experience again .

Did a massive new construction plaza and didn't pay any of their bills put a lot of honest local businesses through tough times just so one family can stay on their

I visited today looking for 2 table lamps. The sales woman was terrible. She was not knowledgeable about the products at all. I told her The style I was looking for and she insisted that I should like lamps that I simply did not like even a little bit!!! I thought the selection was awful but mostly I felt very uncomfortable and I could not wait to get the hell out of there. If I could have given 0 stars I would have..Will never go back again!!!!!

Went above and beyond to ensure my appliance was repaired and the repair was covered by my warranty.
Excellent service, attention to detail and follow up. I will always go here first when shopping for appliances

Worst customer service I have ever seen. Salespeople are downright rude - saw them tell a woman in her 80's to "shut it" when she complained about a defective product (and the woman was very polite). Brought the older woman to tears...incredibly sad.

Once order is paid for, they could care less if defective, missing pieces etc. Would recommend avoiding this place at all costs!

Horrible customer service. The salesperson Fran didn't inform me properly of the sale details. Regardless, I purchased the lights as I loved them. Had 3 issues with the lights, one was scratched, one had a small dent & the other had a black mark on the glass. I immediately called the store & was told she'd get back to me via email or phone. It's been 2 weeks with no phone call, no email. I called today to speak with a Manager Ron who brushed me off & pushed me back to the salesperson. To top it all off I've since found the lights at Home Depot for $200 cheaper! Very aggravated. I manage a store myself and would never treat a customer this way. Clearly you're just a number at the lighting Boutique.

We have been buying appliances and lighting fixtures from this store for thirty years and have had nothing but good experiences throughout that time. The owners and salespeople are very helpful, the delivery people are accommodating, and the pricing has been the best we have found in this area.

My mother in law left the store crying because she went in to get help with her light fixture. Her husband had just passed away and he usually would care for this. So she goes in and gets the owner. She said he was pompous and demeaning to say the least. Just thought I would pass this experience on. It appears that they have awful customer service which starts from the owner down!

I saved a lot of time and money. I was able to take care of both my lighting and appliance needs in one place. The sales people were knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend both stores.

I was checking Frigidaire 12000 BTU thru-the-wall air condition that says it covers 640 square feet and the sales person says it's a 115v plug, which I need. Before I bought it I did some research and found out that the Frigidaire FRA124HT-1 (115v) does only 500 square feet and the Frigidaire FRA124HT-2 is a 208v which won't work for me and it does 640 square feet. They are charging over $100 more for the one they are selling, Frigidaire FRA124HT1. When I brought this up to a sales person, he only gave me a BS excuse and walked away.

We went in looking for appliances and lighting for a home we are building. The salespeople were busy so we waited. Someone came in after us dressed like the were heading to the Queens Cotillion...we had just come from the construction site of our place in need of we were wearing jeans and hoodies. Guess which customer the snooty salesperson chased?? Big mistake! We left ... Mr and Mrs Cotillion left behind us. We ended up at down the road on Ouellette Ave and purchased not only 10,000$ worth of new Kitchen Aid appliances but completed several other rooms as well. Everything was delivered by two very friendly delivery men this past week and it is all perfect. In so far as the lighting boutique, we will never set foot in there again. They and their snooty attitude have lost my business forever. Beware of the buyer that looks like he will spend nothing. He often has a lot to spend!

I have gone in there three times and all three times dealt with someone different in the hopes that I would receive some type of reasonable customer service. Nevertheless I received the same poor and unsatisfactory customer service. The are rude and carry and air about them like they are a class above everybody. You should maybe take a step back and realize that in the end all you are are sales people at a lighting store. Treat people with the respect they deserve and treat them all equally regardless.

Bought three home one was missing a piece and had a broken part another had a scratch when I opened the box. Returned to the store and had the first one "fixed", only to get home, put it up and not have it work. The second one is now on order for a new mirror face. Salespeople were luke warm at best...the whole experience seemed backwards like something out of a bad 80's movie.

Had a wonderful experience. Sales staff was knowledgable, and polite. I was given choices and ideas that I had never even considered. The showroom is gorgeous with just about everything for everyone. Selection was enormous. The owner was polite and very cheery. Would recommend this to anyone building a new home or just looking for one light to update.

defective lamp returned - would not honor credit despite evidence of Mastercard purchase. If you don't have the ORIGINAL handwritten invoice, there is no recourse. Apparently a charge card transaction statement is not enough evidence of a purchase.

Will never purchase here again.

Unfortunately, we cannot return lamps or lighting with just a debit/MasterCard/Visa slip, as we do not have verified proof that it was only one item charged on the slip. Unfortunately, there are people who have ruined such things. If you have further concerns please visit us at our website
