AVO Communications was founded over 35 years ago on the campus of Alabama A&M University by Keith Matthews and Glynis Little while the two were still in school. At the time, they provided a unique service, allowing individuals an opportunity to have a VHS copy of their special event. The two quickly earned a reputation for providing exceptional quality and great value for a minority community. Following a period of brief success, Keith seized the opportunity to gain full control over the company, incorporating it in 1995 and setting the course for growth and development for its future. Since then, the company has enjoyed working with some of the Nation’s largest fortune 500 companies, cool start-ups, interesting individuals, political campaigns, and non-profit organizations. Today, the company is proud to employ one of the most diverse groups of Creatives in the community and while 35 years sounds like a long time, we’re just getting started!
