Wood's Leather Goods

There is only one place in North America to get quality repairs or custom work done on travel goods. Founded by Harold Wood in the 1930's, passed on to son Doug and his son Mike, Wood's was a staple in Calgary for over seven decades. For the likes of luminaries like Rod Stewart, Harry Belafonte, the Beach Boys, Pierre Trudeau; for local superstars like the Lougheeds, Ghitters, Cohens, Callebauts..there was only one place to purchase new travel goods; repair or custom make leather goods. Mike Wood is in the Cougar Ridge area now, still doing custom work. From humble beginnings, arose a legacy. Here's to the Wood family & what they contributed to the travelling public.
