Our server - Jessica was great. However, the pasta was undercooked. They did accommodate us and re did the the pasta - but still not great. However, what really ruined the evening was the incredibly rude staff member. We were waiting for our bill for quite some time. I asked other staff members to grab our waitress and ask for our bill - which they just basically ignored. I said I would ask myself - and then the one staff member made really rude comments about me just loud enough so I could hear. I had not been rude - we just had to leave. It was totally not called for. Will never go to this restaurant again and would not recommend. When you are spending a lot of money for a night out - the staff should have the decency to be polite.
Visited recently as a family of four. My wife had the gnocchi, which was lovely. I think I made a poor choice with the ravioli, which, although cooked well, didn't pack a lot lot of flavour.
Our visit was soured slightly by the pizza "chef" not being able to accommodate a fairly simple pizza request for the kids (essentially to add one topping to one half of the pizza). I found this rather odd, and I came away from the restaurant feeling disappointed with our experience.

We were 6 family members celebrating a birthday. It was our first time at Nodo Leslieville. Both the food and service were 5 star all the way. Lovely, friendly staff and delicious pastas. Loved the atmosphere. It does not feel too crowded or noisy. I believe that our server's name was Isabelle(?). She was terrific.
We had dinner here as 2 couples. This is a small intimate Italian restaurant with great authentic food. Wine list reasonably priced and regionally well represented. Cocktail offerings quite limited. All dishes we had were very tasty and of good proportion . The only drawback , as noted by others was the loudness of the ambient music which interferes with normal conversation- cannot understand why it must be played so loud and unfortunately would lead us to reconsider returning
Timing of the food was perfect - kale and brussels slaw was fresh and crisply. The beef cheek was tender and the orecchiette pasta was also delicious. I’m not a huge fan of spicy food but this pasta dish had just enough chili for me. The only thumbs down to our evening was the loud music. This took away from the service and delight of our dining experience. I’m afraid the music catered more to the staff, hence the 3 star rating.
We love everything about this place! Great space with wonderful staff. The food is so yummy, and the menu is huge!
