She completed her Internal Medicine Residency program at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston in 1984. Dr Santini was a Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation fellow in general internal medicine at The New York Hospital [currently known as NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (Weill Cornell Campus)] between 1984-1986, and subsequently joined the Weill Cornell Internal Medicine Associates practice.
