Tim Janz joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in November 2022, following a 20-year career in the United States Coast Guard, where he attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2. Tim understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Tim has an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Lakeland Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia College. He holds Series 7 and 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Michigan and Ohio. Tim is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. In his free time, Tim enjoys golf, spending time with friends, and spending time with family.
