S. Chace Lottich, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and management of benign and malignant breast disease. Dr. Lottich was the first female surgeon to graduate from Duke University where she completed medical school, surgical residency and fellowship. She has been involved with research at the National Science Foundation, participated in Eli Lilly pharmaceutical research trials, and has published and lectured extensively on breast cancer.
