Dr. Poliskie grew up in Carmel, Indiana and was salutatorian of her Carmel High School graduating class. She obtained her bachelor of science in biology from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, and returned to Indianapolis for medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She was drawn to St. Vincent on the northwest side of Indianapolis for her family medicine residency due to her passion for underserved populations. During residency, she expanded her training to include an area of concentration in global health and participated in sideline coverage of high school football games. She also went on medical mission trips to Kenya and Haiti. Dr. Poliskie practices evidence-based medicine and enjoys all aspects of family medicine, particularly pediatrics, preventive medicine, women's care, chronic disease management, musculoskeletal medicine and global health. In her free time, Dr. Poliskie loves watching and playing soccer, listening to live music, and anything that takes her outdoors, including horseback riding, camping and skiing. She and her husband are huge Colts and Indiana University fans and go to as many games as they can.
