Dr. Doherty is a board-certified ophthalmologist, a fellowship-trained LASIK surgeon, and serves as one of Loden Vision Centers’ primary LASIK and cataract surgery specialists. As a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology, Dr. Doherty has extensive experience with laser eye surgery. Additionally, he is also certified by the American College of Eye Surgeons, and is the first surgeon in Tennessee to perform IntraLase Enabled Keratoplasty (IEK).
