the good behavior geary location is home to some of my favourite ice cream in toronto! the workers at this location are the best. they are so friendly and enjoyable to chat with. i have never been disappointed by their flavor specials!!! if unsure, go for the carrot cake, kalamansi pie, or blue jays popcorn one. and yes you should get a pint to-go because you’re going to want more ice cream when you get home. you will have 0 regrets. highly recommend their midsummer’s dream flavor!

Had an amazing lunch here, got the hot brisket sandwich. My now favourite sandwich EVER, that horseradish beef fat vinaigrette was unreal. The bread was crusty yet fluffy and soft in the middle, the meat was exceptional and the service was great.

Will 100% go again.

Sweet or savory? Why not both? 🍦🥪 @goodbehaviour.to

We stopped by Good Behaviour Ice Cream and Sub Sandwiches and honestly, it’s the elite combo we didn’t know we needed.

Did you know that this spot was actually started by two chefs who met while working at Ascari? They launched it during the pandemic as a way to bring a little comfort to the city through small-batch ice cream, and it quickly turned into a Toronto cult favorite.

We grabbed a few of their legendary subs (that Spicy Meatball is no joke!) and finished things off with their creative scoops. If you’re feeling adventurous, you have to try the Hong Kong Milk Tea or the Torta Della Nonna—the flavors are incredibly refined and unlike anything else in the city.

Whether you’re in it for the brisket or the bourbon butter pecan, this is your sign to go.

The taste of the sandwiches are great. I've had most of them. My problem has always been with the amount of filler compared to the actual protein in their sandwiches.

Their advertised images show sandwiches chock full of protein but when the ad becomes reality -- you are staring at lettuce. Not to mention that the meat and cheese stops a full inch from both sides of the sandwich.

If this isn't false advertisement, I genuinely don't know what IS false advertisement.

Staff is always super friendly and good at their jobs. I'm guessing that ownership is looking to crank out profit by skimping on the actual product.

Bottom line, for 20 bucks, you shouldn't be eating mostly free lettuce.

This review is for their catering service, as we hired Good Behaviour through our wedding caterer, Enville Catering (located across the street). They brought them in to serve ice cream doughnuts, which is a menu item no longer available in stores—so we were thrilled to be able to offer this unique treat at our own wedding.

I first tried Good Behaviour ice cream several years ago at their pop-up in Kensington Market, and when sampling flavours recently during our wedding tasting, I immediately noticed the improvements in flavour, texture, and consistency – kudos to the hard work they’ve put into refining their recipes! As a Cantonese couple, we were especially excited about their Chinese-inspired flavours, like Hong Kong milk tea and black sesame. The Hong Kong milk tea was perfectly balanced, with the tea complementing the creamy milk, and the black sesame was rich, velvety, and superior to any other black sesame ice cream I’ve tried.

Our guests absolutely loved having their ice cream doughnuts at our wedding and we will definitely continue to support them by buying pints whenever we pass by. Highly recommend them!

For me, the ice cream definitely outshines the sandwiches here. The Torta della Nonna is easily one of my favourite ice cream flavours there. It is rich, balanced, and just so good. I also tried the coffee crème brûlée, which was delicious as well, though a touch on the sweeter side. The other flavours like Dragon Poop, cookies and crème, s’mores, and birthday cake didn’t blow me away but they have a good variety. Something for everyone!

I finally got around to trying Good Behaviour Ice Cream after hearing so many people talk about it. Overall, it was a good experience, but honestly, I didn’t find anything that really stood out as special or unforgettable.

First off, the location is great — super easy to get to, and the outdoor seating area is such a nice touch, especially in the summer. It’s a great spot to hang out with friends or just enjoy a cone on a warm evening. The vibe is fun and welcoming, and it definitely has that local neighborhood feel that makes you want to support them.

They have a pretty big variety of flavors, which I always appreciate. There’s something for everyone, and it’s clear they put effort into offering interesting options beyond the usual basics. That said, while the flavors were good, none of them really wowed me or made me feel like I had discovered something amazing.

When you’re paying a premium price for ice cream, you expect that extra punch — whether it’s ultra-creamy texture, bold and unique flavors, or just something memorable that makes you crave it again. For me, Good Behaviour just didn’t quite hit that mark. Everything tasted fine, but nothing really blew me away.

That being said, I still enjoyed my visit. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the overall experience was pleasant. I’d definitely go back if I’m nearby or already in the area, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way or make a special trip just for this ice cream.

All in all, it’s a solid spot, especially if you’re looking for a fun summer hangout or want to try a few new flavors. Just don’t go in expecting to be completely blown away, and you’ll have a good time.

Sooooo good! Took an Uber down from Richmond Hill to walk around this neighborhood and visit some breweries, and stopped here first for lunch. Couldn’t have been more happy with this place! Tried both the ice cream and the sandwiches. Tiramisu ice cream delivered and tastes just like eating Tiramisu. And the Classic cold sub was exactly what I hoped for. Solid Italian sub. Generous portion. My husband got the hot meatball sub and is still talking about how good it was, especially the pesto mayo. They are a well-oiled machine here. Service was friendly, but really efficient. Clearly know what they are doing. Would definitely come back here and would recommend. Thank you so much!

Great first experience. I debated between the hot and cold but ultimately decided on the hot meatball sub and was delicious. Coming from an Italian, im typically picky about the tomato sauce and taste of the meatballs but wasn't disappointed. Their ice cream flavours are unique and would highly recommend trying. Will be back!
