He obtained his undergraduate degree in anthropology and chemistry from Beloit College in Beloit, WI and his Master of science in forensic science from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Whiting went on to complete his internship and residency in family medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI.
