Love this place. Best Steak in the city. And a new location!

The service was good in here. We were seated straight away and the staff were very attentive.

The menu was a little pricey, meal for three including wine and service charge came to c.$700 Canadian. For that I would have expected really high end steaks but unfortunately the steaks were a disappointment, which is a problem if you are a steak restaurant.

The meat was a little tough and fatty and lacked flavour. The sides were good but that’s not what we came here for.

We had steaks at the Airport Sheraton which were far better and at a fraction of the price.

I would definitely come back to Toronto but this restaurant would not be on my list to visit.

The steak was perfectly cooked, and the fries were crispy and delicious. The ambiance and service made it a memorable dining experience and must try .

Jacobs & Co. Steakhouse was probably our best choice we made in Toronto for dinner. Service was impeccable, our waiter Joshua was extremely accommodating and attentive to our every need. From our daughter's Shirley Temple to his recommendations for steak for our son, Joshua made sure we were well taken care of. Jacobs & Co. had many gluten free options for our son, including his own popover. We tried the tasting menu for the steak, and were blown away by all four of them. Definitely make sure to order the Caesar salad, which is prepared table side. Best salad we've tried. Save room for desserts.

9/10 service - everything was great except our server forgot our drink order and forgot to bring our doggie bag. But our server did make a very nice suggestion with the steak choice and wine pairing. Nothing major, the rest of the staff were all on point.

8/10 food - not sure if we just ate too much red meat as that's not usually in our diet, but both our stomachs felt off after the meal. Not something you'd expect to feel after a pricey meal like that. But the food was really good, the Australian wagyu was 👌

Overall, it was a great experience!! I really enjoyed my time here ☺️ the homemade bread was sensational 😍

The service is definitely 10/10 here.
Food is nothing extraordinary. It’s good but that’s expected with what you’re paying. The risotto is average but the potato gratin was delicious. Steaks and chicken are also good but nothing extravagant. The desserts are rich - we were a party of 4 and almost tried everything.
The atmosphere inside needs improvement. Does not look super upscale inside.

We ordered A5 Kobe and rib-eye steak. I was impressed with the quality of the meat and efficient service. Great wine selections as well. Side dishes and dessert were also perfect with our steak. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a high end steakhouse in Toronto.

What I like about the steaks is the tell you what farm they come from, for the most part. The accompaniments(duck fat fries, potatoes gratin, risotto) are worth the price to pay considering the time it would take to make them. The bread is great, they explain all the different steaks and the spacing between tables was good. If we could of lessened the drinks the bill would of been a little better but what are you going to do when the booze start to flow 🤷‍♂️ bill was close to 1000 for four people

We absolutely love coming to this Restaurant . it’s our go to for all special occasions/celebrations, we love coming to Jacobs.. Unfortunately, for us, we had a very dishonest waiter the past few occasions , and we are so unbelievably disappointed that the owners of Jacobs would have somebody like this working for them ..ripping off their customers.
His name is Akbar..we had this server the past few times unlucky for us…the first incident he charged us for a ridiculous amount of sparkling and spring water around 10 bottles when maybe I can say honestly we had 2 or 3 . He also added more expensive steaks on the bill as well as added extra alcoholic drinks on our bill as well and when calculated he overcharged us $170-200…on our bill it was $ 850 not including tip…when it should’ve been between $600-$650 before tip. We let it go…
The second and third time he did the same thinking we wouldn’t catch him but he tried to add extra items and more expensive steaks again but not as much as he did the first time but we told him we did not order these items please remove them and he did…he really got away with it the first time after that we watched and remembered every single item ordered so he wouldn’t rip us off again…
We are so upset about it and when sending an email to the management at Jacobs NOBODY even had the decency to reply back and apologize.
This waiter really left a sour taste in our mouths and i really don’t think we will return until at least someone acknowledges this and apologizes!
The food again at Jacobs is incredible unfortunately servers like Akbar will destroy the experience and ruin their prestine name very fast if they don’t do anything about it!

Service was good, but we came for the steak, 3 couples and we all ordered Bone in Strip....at $117 a steak we where underwhelmed to say the least...presented in a cast iron skillet which was not hot, steak was tough and pretty tasteless, called the restaurant the next day before posting this, all I got from the manager is we will note it for next time.....sorry no next time

This is a great restaurant. It is without question the best restaurant I have ever been to in Toronto. Our entire dining experience was exceptional, thank you!

Quite pricey but you get what you pay for. Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. My family and friends had a great time.

Jacob's has gone so downhill. Prices have increased, and quality and selection have decreased.

Service and management are inattentive and uncaring, to say the least.

Stick with The Keg - better food and service at a quarter of the price

Jacob has a great classic Toronto steak place. The service is impeccable. We got the table side Cesar share the steak in a ton of sides. We’ve been several times and they never disappoint.
