Dr. Burgess went to medical school at West Virginia School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia. He completed his residency at Spectrum Health/Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan and did his fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Burgess is board eligible with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is affiliated with numerous medical associations, including the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
