I like so many others here purchased a product from Goulda's Kitchen on Amazon. When the product arrived it was not as pictured, so I followed their procedure for returns. On Dec 20th of 2015 I returned the product through Canada Post and was issued a tracking number. to this date I have not received a refund, when I followed up with thme I have been given every excuse in the book, the parcels wasn't received by them it was placed in the wrong mailbox, in isn't in their inventory etc. I was told to take it up with Canada Post for a refund.
After reading all the reviews here, it seems to be the same situation with everyone. What a smart business tactic to replenish their stock at the expense of naïve customers and loyal customers.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. IT IS ALL A SCAM

Have shopped online many times and have never had any issues regarding my order! I had someone call regarding an item I ordered and between laughs we got the issue fixed! Another time there was an issue with my card and it was a very small problem and my fault not theirs! It was rectified and I apologized and the employee was very kind in response!
Will shop again and in fact going to place an order tonight.
Delivery is fantastic as I live north and it comes to the door here I my apartment building ! I would recommend Golda's Kitchen to anyone wishing a suggestion where to shop!

I have been to this store 2 times, once in August of 2015 and then in December 2015 on a business trip to Toronto and both times the people who waited on me were helpful, informative and very accomodating to my inquiries and questions.

I would not hesitate to say its a fabulous kitchenware shop and I have spent just lover 600 dollars there and would go again any time. The sales people who walked around the store with me made suggestions, gave me their ideas about the products and helped me make the best selections even though I had a list before hand.

I just hope they keep it up.

I'm discounting what people have said here, but I've shopped online at Golda's Kitchen for more than a decade and never had a problem. I'm a serious baker so buy quite a bit. I've rarely had to call customer service, but the people on the other end have never been rude or arrogant. Which is not to say it may never happen, but just be aware some of us are happy customers.

I think I've had it from this store! They are the rudest, most arrogant, totally disrespectful set of people I've ever met. Customer service is 0%. I don't know which one is worse, whether talking to them in person at the store, or over the phone. It's just sooo bad.

I tried to hold an amiable conversation with one of them over the phone regarding my items that I ordered online, and this lady kept on interrupting me from the beginning of the conversation to the end, trying to push her own point. It was so annoying to say the least, but I'm happy I didn't flare up and insult her.

I stopped going to the store for the same reasons, because just seeing the store from afar makes me enraged!!

Yes! People need to know how truly awful Golda's is. Yelp hides all the negative reviews on Golda. Golda's customer service sucks and is the worse, never shop there people, they will turn on you eventually as they have everyone else.

Golda's Kitchen apparently has a reputation for arrogant, terrible, even nasty customer service (very bad reviews from many people all over the Internet) but I always figured, (like ya' do...) I'm such a loyal customer of 7 years could never happen to *me*. Oh, no, not me.

Well today I had several things in my online basket and wanted to use a gift certificate for part of it, but it was really complicated I'd tried several times last week to do it, so today I phoned and asked the person who answered could they just take my order over the phone, as they have in the past.

The rep could not have been nastier. She kept implying I was dumb, and told me to just do as I was told. She was determined to brow-beat me the customer into submission and could not conceal her contempt for me. I said, "I've tried for the past week several times and it's not working, I just want to give you my money so please take the order over the phone." And she said "No, I am not going to do that for you, I'm hanging up." And she did, she hung up on me.

I managed to get the order through in the end online, but I left only enough in the basket to use up the gift card.

The complaints are so widespread about Golda's Kitchen terrible customer service going so far back all over the internet I should have checked out their reputation more thoroughly a long time ago. Frighteningly, I read some complaints about them not standing behind stuff damaged in shipping to some people.

Google Golda's Kitchen customer service and you'll quickly see for yourself. (p.s. there is no real Golda, either, I found out.)

I too have spent a considerable amount of money at Golda's over the past year and have always been satisfied until I had to return a product. The product they sent me was clearly a second and since I believe that if I pay full price for something, I deserve to get that something fresh off the factory floor. Now they accuse me of having used the product myself and refuse to refund my money. Where does the guarantee come in? I will never shop there again and will advise customers to go to Tweed and Hickory for their pots and pans as well as Chef's Catalog. Totally disgusted!!!

I am not surprised they are arrogant people and think they are doing Canadians a huge favour by taking their money.

I have spent over $1,000 in the last 8 months and when I had a problem they were rude and disrespectful.

I will never shop there again. They have just lost a lot of business.

Good for you. That is exactly Golda's, they turn on you. Worst customer service ever, very arrogant.

I originally would have given them at least a 4, the delivery was quick and I received all products. When I emailed them to confirm I had received the correct size pan again the response was quick. Then when I started to prepare some silver cookie boxes for products I discovered half of them were not usable. There were globs of glue and fingerprints on them and they smelled heavily of adhesive. I tried contacting the company by email and left phone messages, but to date have not had a response. The boxes were re-packaged from a larger lot so there is no way they should have been sent and clearly were not "food safe".

I placed an order through Amazon for product from Golda's and received a confirming email that my product had shipped on 4/21/11, with a UPS tracking number. On 4/26, I checked tracking and it showed it had been delivered to a place in North Carolina and left at the back door...I live in California...not even close. I contacted Golda's and was told they gave me an incorrect tracking number. New tracking number shows that the product was delivered to my town (no address included, just the town), and still have not received product. Golda's tells me that they cannot refund my money and they have no idea how long it will take to deal with the situation with UPS. These products were needed for decorations for cupcakes for a bridal shower, and now we will go without decorations.
