My brother told me about this place.I went to a lot of stores in the Peg and outside of town.I read some of the reviews and ended up going there.Like everybody said it was hard to find.Boy I'm lucky I did.My suggestion for anybody is to go to some stores and then go there.I bought a great ring but I made a mistake in the shape of stone my girl friend wanted.I went back down with my girl fiend just to make sure.They changed everything for us the same day at no charge.We got the best ring at the absolute best price.I will always recommend this store to my friends or any body who reads these posts.

I had heard about this place through a lot of my friends and it also turned out that my fiances parents had also bought their original rings there 28 years ago.You will have a hard time finding this place but don't give up,its all worth it.Our biggest problem was deciding on a design because the selection here is off the chart.We cant say enough nice things about thembut we can say once you go there you will never go anywhere else.Thank you Simon Imports for all you did for us.

Several co-workers got their wedding rings from here. I went there and got a really good vibe from Simon. I forget how it was that I was shown the diamonds (7 years ago) but I remember that based on what we discussed he showed me and the one I chose just screamed out to me. A couple weeks later I picked up the engagement ring. I can't remember what he said exactly but it made me feel really good, almost making me tear up. Best choice, woman and ring.

My girlfriend hinted to me that she wanted a ring from Simons so I went there to look around.all I'm going to say is this place is like nothing else anywhere.the choice was the biggest id ever seen and everything is there.They have more diamonds in stock than every body combined and everything is real not just fake samples.theservice was unbelievable and nobody was close to their pricing.I will recommend them to all my friends.Thank you Simon

The reason I use the word skeptical is because I had been to many jewellers to look at diamonds.when I sat down with Simon my first impression was here we go again another speech how we have the best the best diamonds but after two minutes I realized it's not a speech its a jeweller educating you on diamonds and I appreciate that because after looking at the diamonds I immediately saw what he meant he truly did have excellent diamonds I can give you a example of the difference from other shops I had several jewellers give me quotes on diamonds all had to be brought in and for a fee they were all from .70-.74 and .90 carats si-1 g-e color .90 was a vs2 e color excellent cut well the .70-74 were all at 3800 all the way to 4600 .90 was 5800 all these were plus setting and tax setting was a solitary 1400-2000 dollars the .90 was the only comparable diamond but the diamond I purchased was bigger in measurement and for less I did a ratio comparison and was perfect 1.01 that .90 was going to cost me nearly $8000 well Simon blew these shops out of the water selling me a .84 carat that was in measurement size bigger than all of them with excellent cut excellent sysmetry and very good polish believe me all of those other shops quotes were well above $6500 dollars and for lesser quality diamonds when looking at the Gia and comparing it the big benefit is the fact that you actually see the diamonds before you make a decision you actually see what your buying not just relying on a Gia certificate if your looking for a diamond go look at these other shops then go see Simon at simonimports you will be glad you did thank you Simon and your staff top notch service

Just bought a diamond from them.I didn't know we had store like this in the Peg.I have been in every store in town.I should have just come here first.The selection is unbelievable and the prices are by far the best in town.Nobody is in the same league as this company;probably because they are the real importer.I heard so many other jewelers tell me they did also but they don't have any inventory.They all said they could bring it in for us.Didnt make sense.anyway Simons had it all in stock.Very very happy.

Took us 10 minutes to find them eventhough we were in the mall.Didnt know there was a 2n floor.These guys are down a corridor on the mezzamie level.anyway very happy we did.
we saw everything we had seen in wpg plus 10x that amount of rings and diamonds again.we were alittle scared because this is a pretty high end place .After about 15 mins my girlfriend had picked out 3 styles that she loved and we decided that I would come back and choose to make it more of a surprise.I came back the next day and bought a ring.Nobody can touch the price for quality that we got and we have been in about every store in Winnipeg and other places too.always going to come back here.my girlfriend loves the ring and gets so many complements.Thank you again very much simon imports

Simon was recommended by my daughter for outstanding custom work, so when my wedding band could no longer be removed from my finger and needed enlarging I went to Simon. They cut my wedding band off my finger and then enlarged it four sizes - the work was outstanding and there is no way you can tell the ring has been enlarged. Not only that the price was incredibly reasonable far less than I was expecting considering the excellent quality of the work. Paul B

So I read all the reviews,then called and made an appointment with them to see engagement rings.All I have to say is we have finally found a jeweler.These guys are great!I can understand why they don't advertise.The selection is so big you need an hour just to see all the styles.And diamonds -never saw anything like it.We thought we were like in New York.

I normally don't offer reviews on people I do business with but I was so impressed by this organization that I really felt obliged to.Looking for an engagement ring I found to be very stressfull,not from just trying to find out what Stephanie secretly wanted but going to a number of stores trying to understand and compare values and looking for some solid information that I could consider.Being an engineer I was looking for some technical data on diamonds and became very frustrated and disappointed in the level of knowledge these so called experts had.Their only interest was to make a sale any any cost and every story I heard was totally different.When I was at a seminar ,I was talking about this to a group of associates and mentioned my dilemma.Simon Imports name came up.I booked an appointment with them and went down to see them.A liitle hard to find..not exactly on the beaten track but after I went there I understood why.These are professionals.I had never seen the extent of inventory in all the combined stores I had visited.Before I even had a chance to see inventory I was sat down and given a reasonably in depth concept in diamond qualities that totally made sense.The biggest problem was narrowing down the choices .I did and enjoyed the experience immensely.Simon Imports..thank you so much..you have customer forever.

We had heard about Simon's Imports thru many people and how his diamond quality is second to none. That couldn't be more true. We made an appointment and before we even looked at mounts, he took the time to explain everything there is to know about the 4 C's of diamonds. We learned so much about the importance of a quality stone and how almost every mainstream jeweller carries only up to a certain "quality" of diamond. My fiance ended up going back a month later to choose the most beautiful stone imagineable for the mount we had previously chosen together.

You HAVE to meet with Simon before you make ANY decision on your engagement ring. You will never look at a diamond in a retail store the same way again.

I knew about Simon Imports from years ago when I used to work at Grant Park Dental. My Fiance Sean had been making layaway payments at Appelts. We went down to look at settings, I had seen one on their website that I loved. We were quite shocked to see that the price of the ring was WAY more in the store than it was on their website, and after discussion with the staff and their denial of the existence of the website, they agreed to honour the price on the website for the setting. Sean purchaced the ring a few weeks later, and we went to see Simon about a centre stone. The diamond he put in was more beautiful that I could imagine, and the price was UNREAL! After Sean proposed, I noticed that one of the sidestones was missing ( thanks Appelts!), and Simon is going to replace the stone no charge. He also included sizing of my Granny's vintage wedding band at no charge too. Thank you Simon and staff for making my dreams come true!!!

I purchased an engagement ring for my wife at Simon's, I didn't have an appointment but was still able to sit down with him. He showed me a lot of rings which were within my budget and took the time to explain everything and answer questions. We purchased our wedding bands from him as well.
